Oh noes! Our Kdrama stars are taking a beating lately. Gong Hyo Jin, who is currently filming It’s Okay, It’s Love, was in a car accident yesterday and suffered a fractured arm! Again–oh noes! Luckily, despite the broken arm, she seems to be okay–as it was a three car accident and could have been a lot worse.
First off–I’m excited to hear that filming has already begun on It’s Okay, It’s Love as I, and a lot of other kdrama fans, are really looking forward to the drama. If they are filming, it means we’re that much closer to it’s premier date.
Which brings us to the secondly–I wonder what Gong Hyo Jin’s accident will do for the filming of the drama. Will they push it back? Is she going to be ‘encouraged’ to go right back to work? Are they going to build the break into the story? I mean, it’s a break, she’s going to be in a cast for a while, I don’t think that’s something they can just ignore for the entire drama–like they did with T.O.P’s hand in the movie Commitment.
Since they are still in the beginning stages of the drama, I’m sure they still have some wiggle room with the story and filming schedule. It’s not like what happened last week with Lee Seung Gi’s injury on the drama You’re All Surrounded, which shut down their filming, causing them to only show one episode.
Feel better soon Gong Hyo Jin!
