Huh-Huh-Huh–We are Bullet Proof! Heh. They may be bullet proof–but they are not GDragon proof. While I wouldn’t wish GD away fro anything, I can’t help but feel bad for my Bangtang Boys. Originally set to headline against Girls Generation, the boys were bumped down the ladder once GDragon signed on.
Is it weird to say it makes me sad to think of them getting that news? And for the person who sad to say, “Bad news boys….” Good news is that they shook off any bad feelings they may or may not have had and rocked it out.
Hardcore.
Seriously, these guys moved so fast that it was hard to take anything but slightly blurred shots of the empty spaces where they had been just a moment earlier. Look at this picture:
Ignore the horrible blurry parts and focus on the guy on the side who is horizontal in mid-air. Holy crap.
On top of that they were the sweatiest idols I have ever seen. Just look at Rap Monster. It looks like someone has just hosed him down.
Side note–as I mentioned in the podcast–check out this eyeliner. It didn’t budge at all and as my eyeliner always gives me raccoon eyes by the end of the day–I’d love to find out what those sweaty, dripping idols use.
Out of all the bands who were there, BTS was one of the top 3 groups I was there to see (the others being GD and CNBlue of course) and they were amazing.
BTS is one of the few bands where, not only do I own all the CD’s but I also listen to them in their entirely instead of a song here and a song there.
Since my only experience with them was through their albums–I didn’t realize how much, how well they could move. Their dances were incredibly athletic (hence the horizontal and sweatyness).
I’m alos glad that I’m not the only BTS fan out there. There are a lot of us, and I’m thinking most of us were there that weekend. During KCON, I swear the hottest, most sought after ticket for the high touch was BTS. People were willing to give up their whole haul (high touches, signings, audiences) with other artists in order to get their hands on one BTS high touch. Then of course there were those who got one and knew exactly what to do with it–sell it to the highest bidder. As I related to my friends later, I almost caved and purchased one for $100–and then explained that reason returned just in time. “I realized I didn’t need to spend a hundred dollars to touch a young boy.”
LAUGH. Of course I didn’t actually mean it to come out that way–and the ladies in the car laughed so hard they nearly died. So I guess my embarrassment was completely worth it.
I’ve heard rumbles that BTS may be planning a US tour sometime later this year and let me tell you–if they do–I’ll be there. And I’ll try to move my camera as fast as they do….
Here is their set at KCON
