Not entirely sure how I missed this song! Was I really busy when this release happened? Did my subconscious suddenly become a Block B anti-fan without me knowing? Its not like Block B isn’t on my radar–they are. I’m actually a big fan and have been for a while.
Although now I’m thinking I should probably have that status stripped from me.
Block B brings such a fun life and attitude to their music and videos and this entry into their collection does not disappoint. The video itself is so visually stylized and well thought out you just can’t stop watching–no matter how disturbing it is. The styling of it and the band reminds me of their Very Good release so it makes me wonder if it comes from that album.
The song itself is interesting and, with all the different styles, tempos and quick stops, you’d think it wouldn’t work all in one song, but somehow, they make it all fit–in a really cool way.
I’d like to take this moment to apologize to Block B for my gap in fandom and I promise, it won’t happen again! So go out there and continue being awesome…because I’ll be watching.
Block B, Jackpot
I love Block B. Their music just doesn’t disappoint. And although this video is rather creepy, I still can’t tear my eyes away from it. The concept is well thought out. I’d really love to see these guys in concert.
Sadly, they were here and I stupidly didn’t go. Guess who is kicking herself now?
Oh, seriously?! When were they in NY? I think their concert would be AWESOME. I’m actually kicking myself for not flying out to see VIXX with you in November – even though it was the weekend before Thanksgiving and I so didn’t have the money. Let’s just hope these bands keep coming back!
Ugh–they were all the way out in Long Island. Whoever planned their tour stop was so not in the know.
This is my only tiny bit of kpop knowledge – I believe the video came out right before the ferry disaster. That delayed the digital download so long that they decided to incorporate it into their then (?) newest album. I only own this song and a sexy come hither song called “3 W’s and 1 H” that both reside in my running playlist. Both do a good job inspiring you to run faster . . .
You’re right, I remember that! My friend runs a Kpop dance class and they had wanted to do the dance for it, but it kept getting pushed back. Whew. Now I feel better. I always say Kpop is perfect to work out to! If the beat doesn’t get you, the thought of those super skinny idols will!
