I was lucky enough to go to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for their Cherry Blossoms. I’ve always wanted to go to Korea to see theirs, but this will just have to do. (For now.) It is possible I walked around the whole day pretending I was in Korea.
I went there with my friend Azy to work on my camera skills–here are some of my better shots.
These are actually lilacs–it made me think of home.
Don’t these shoes scream “KPOP”?
Don’t mind us we’re just Japanese ducks…yeah…Japanese.
Hey, we’re backhuggin’ here!
This lady was just snacking in a full on Kimono. Pretty bad-ass if you ask me.
Oh right, and you were here for Cherry Blossoms, weren’t you?
It was like walking under a blanket of flowers.
Nothing to do with Korea, just pretty.
One last shot.
The botanical gardens were so much fun, it really did make me think of Kdrama, especially those springtime shots where the hero and heroine are snuggling under cherry blossom petals. (See Lie To Me and A Gentleman’s Dignity)

Very pretty. The lady in the kimono looked right at home.
Oh so pretty! Great pics! I love pictures of flowers & scenery. Nothing wrong with using your imagination to magically transport you so to speak to Korea.
