It was just announced that bandmates Baro and Sandeul of the so-cute-they-make-you-happy-without-the-expected-sweetness-toothache band B1A4 have just signed onto an upcoming drama.
First off, yay! B1A4 is an awesome band, and their members are so cute you can’t help but root for and want the very best for them. Or, if you’re of a certain age, you want to pat them on the head, buy them snacks, and let them call you Noona.
But that might just be me?
Baro is no newbie to the screen, as he’s managing to get some pretty impressive roles under his belt. While I’ve only scene him in Answer Me 1994 (which he rocked), he’s taken chances with roles in God’s Gift: 14 Days, and lately, Angry Mom. This however, will be Sandeul’s first attempt at acting—unless you count their cheesy music videos—which I’m fairly certain no one does.
The drama is actually a web drama, which have met with various degrees of success (let’s all try to forget just how crap-tastic Prince’s Prince turned out to be). The drama is called Loss Time Life, which is about people who die who are allowed a certain amount of time to go back and live their life. Yep, unless something drastic happens this looks like it has the makings of a weep-fest.
There’s a time and a place for those though, right?
Baro plays a rocker with a heart of gold, where Sandeul’s soon-to-be-really-dead guy will be a nice guy who gets picked on because of his appearance and strict mother.
The drama is based on a Japanese drama and actually began airing last week, so let’s cross our fingers that this is going to be subbed by someone out there!
Now all that’s left to enter the acting world is Gongchan and CNU—and I don’t know about you guys but I could really see CNU in some sort of role out there. (Ahem. Bias peeking through…)
