BONUS PODCAST! Listener Questions, Comments on Comments

Posted by Cherry Cordial on December 4, 2015

Bonus podcast! Or more to the fact, all the extra shizzle we had to cut out of Episode 39. We talk about dramas we’d remake, Thai dramas we’d dream cast to Kdramas (guess which one we chose?), and cringeworthy English. (And of course, being us, lots, lots more.)

Oh, this year’s NaNoWriMo was a bust – my story was built off one of the trio of mysteries that I wrote before – but, I ended up re-writing the prior story and I ended up going off the rails. The good news is that when I do finish this story, I’ll have four complete novels to shop around someday. It’s always a learning experience – I may love reading a romance but I suck at writing romance scenes.

Hi Stephanie and Cherry – Sorry for the delay in getting the link info to you. I came home from vacation and two days later came down with “airplane” flu which lasted two weeks. Which was followed by a really nasty cold. So Takumi Kun fanfic wasn’t even on my radar. I didn’t even get online for more than 5 minutes a day for most of the month. At this point I’m not sure if I like Takumi Gii or DaiMao fic better. They both are entertaining. And some can get pretty raunchy!

The Takumi Kun 1 – DaiMao version is at:

This last trip I had my purse and a carry on. The only electronics were my iPhone and Kindle. No computer for 9 days! So whatever I bring has to fit in my carry on!

Thanks guys. I was laying in bed last night with 4 dogs on my bed and I think they thought I was nuts cause I kept laughing as I listened to you. You helped me go to sleep with a smile on my face.

Now that I’m feeling better, I’ve been thinking about remakes. I would love a remake of Love Sick but the only Asian country that would get it right (maybe) would be Japan. At least they let their male characters kiss and I wouldn’t want a Love Sick without Phun/Noh kisses. And they’d have to be good ones like Takumi/Gii kisses in Takumi Kun 5.Honestly a French production could do an awesome remake of the story. Some of my favorite gay movies are French. Germany and Sweden also have a good track record for either good high school movies or gay cinema. I wonder if they could do it as a 2 hour movie that focuses on the Noh/Phun characters and boil it down into the heart of their story. Hmmmmm.
