‘Tis the Season For Lots of Wrist Grabs Falalalalalalla

christmas tree 2

It’s Christmas time, which for me means one thing: time to watch some Kdrama! Yep, no matter how many projects I’m working on I put the time aside and force myself to put my butt on the couch and keep it there for a full 24-48 hours.

You celebrate your way, I’ll celebrate mine.

This leaves a very important question. What exactly do I want to watch? In years past I’ve done Padam Padam, Bad Hair (Full House Take 2), Heartless City (you know because nothing quite says Christmas like undercover cops, prostitutes and drug dealers!), Faith, and last  year it was Air City (ugh, don’t ask).

So as you can see, the drama could be happy, sad, romantic, or bloody—just whatever takes my fancy. The only guideline I usually try to have is that the drama come from sometime that year as a bit of a last minute catch up.

This year, I have an ambitious line up of dramas in which to choose from, here are my top choices:

D-Day!D-Day korean drama

I have 10 hours of, from what I understand, tear filled drama ahead of me. I loved the first half of this drama so hard, I can see myself sitting back with my projector, my tissues, and my christmas lights. Ho-ho-sob!

Noble My Lovenoble my love

I’m going to admit it, this one is going on this last because of it’s size. Short ones are easy to blow through and are a nice padding to the numbers. This one has an added bonus of lots of people saying good things about it.

Splash Splash Love

Ooooh, I can’t wait to see this drama special. It looks adorable, I love the actors, and while I still think it should be called Splish Splash Love, this is a must watch.

Oh My Ghostess!

oh my ghoste

I was excited for this drama when it first came out and then…nothing. I never watched it, and I dont’ think I ever actually heard anything, one way or another, if it were good or not. But here it sits on my list.

My mind keeps whirling to others I want to try, but time is limited and I can only push off my to do list for so long.

How about you? Are you planning some holiday watching? If so, what are you thinking of?

Stephanie – watch Oh My Ghostess. It’s so good. Funny and sweet with a side is spooktacular. Interesting story, good acting – I really liked this one. 🙂 D-Day is good, too. Very dramatic. But I still choose Oh My Ghostess. The two lead actresses are the bomb. Plus it ends well, which is always a plus for me.

I’m watching City Hunter and then Oh My Ghostess. So if you want to keep up with me, watch Oh My Ghostess! I’ve heard mostly good things about it and I like all three leads.

Loved Oh My Ghostess, hated Noble My Love, haven’t seen the other two. I’m currently obsessed with Marry Me Or Not, Bromance, and Oh My Venus. Oh My Venus has the same actor as Noble My Love, but he’s not a creep in OMV, fortunately. I’m out of episodes on my favorite two, so I need to find something completed to marathon. Maybe I should start Glorious Day, since it’s been on my list for years, and its really long.
