Alright, so we just wanted to announce after a lot of thought, we’ve decided to give the weekly format of the podcast a try. From here on out, until we hear or decide otherwise, we’re splitting the podcast into two parts. Yes, the pocast will (dear lord, hopefully) be shorter, for those of you who love the podcast (and thank, thank, thank you) never fear! Teeeechnically this means you’ll be getting more kchat for your buck—as we’re aiming for about an hour per episode. Since we’ll be recording it all at once, the format will go like this, part one will be what we’re watching and a short topic and then part 1.5 will be topics. Why are we doing this? Well, we’ve noticed that our episodes are getting longer with less topics. (Apparently, Cherry and I can get our chat on.)

So, in this podcast we’re going to be talking about what we’re watching, mourn Junsu’s new relationship status (or maybe that’s just Stephanie), get cranky over BTS (again, probably just Stephanie), plan a new bonus episode on a movie we both watched and love and want to spoil the crap out of with friends, and then realize just how many dramas we’re both currently watching which features a dead fiancé’s heart. Hmmm…

Stephanie should apologize to the following
  • Cherry, for basically falling asleep on you.
  • Listeners for, right off the bat running over the clock. She tells herself that it’s just because we had to annoounce the new format, but who are we kidding? (No. NO!)
  • Jacqueline, for maligning your taste in dramas.
  • BTS. For… nothing. You know what you did, and you should be ashamed.
  • Junsu. She guesses she should apologize for being so cranky about your relationship. She wishes you and that girl well…..kind of. Don’t push it.
Thanks for listening! See you next time.

The weekly format sounds like a good deal for listeners – more stuff, and more frequently. What’s not to love? 😉

Glad you enjoyed My Friend Is Still Alive, Cherry!! They did such a good job making a heavy sort of topic pretty light yet sincere & heartfelt. I hope more folks give it a chance after listening to the podcast! 🙂

Wow! I’ve been obsessed with Seven Days for the past couple of weeks. I bought the manga and watched the movies. Soooooooooo good. I noticed the same thing Cherry did. They stuck really really faithfully to the manga. There were some shots in the movies that I wondered about and when I read the manga, there they were. Hands down my favorite kiss scene in these kinds of movies happens in the second movie. So happy to find another decent BL movie. And it’s another pair of actors who really seem to enjoy each other off screen as well. Even if they are too old for the parts that just par for the course. Takumi being the exception to the rule of course.

Oh, BTW love that I’ll be hearing y’all every week.

Always enjoy listening to you both and hearing what you are watching!!!!

I started watching Moorim school (I am not ready to recommend yet ) and was struck by how at time Lee Hyun Woo reminds me of G dragon. It all depends on the hairstyle they are sporting. I am wondering if you all see a resemblance?

I can’t remember if you all mentioned but iTunes now has a Kpop genre. It makes it so much easier to find music.
    BTS fighting!!!

I begun to watch Bromance and I love it! I did see why people would find that girl (I can’t think of her name right now) in the side romance annoying, but I don’t pay much attention to her. I hadn’t heard of the show before, I’m glad I listened to the podcast.

Oh, and I’m an army but not a fan of “Run”. I thought I was alone, glad to hear I’m not. The music video drives me crazy, why are they destroying things? I’m also an EXO-L. I was into EXO first and JreKml got me into BTS. Don’t worry, “Call Me Baby” wins everyone over ^_^ just relax and let D.O. and Chanyeol serenade you together. They should do more duets.

I just finished “Love Me if you Dare” after hearing Cherry Cordial talk about it. It was excellent! That last second is brutal…I ran downstairs to tell my husband about it …. and he couldn’t have cared less. sigh.

I have a bone to pick with the writers about that last second. It’s not in the book — in fact, the last few episodes weren’t in the book, either — and it totally changes the feel of the story. I’ve decided my version is the book version, complete with cute epilogues of family life.

I will have to check out the book. I love epilogues…helps prolong the fantasy.

You’ll have to let me know how you like it when you’re finished. BTW, in case you don’t already have it, here’s the link to the fan-translated novel: http://lmfyd.blogspot.com/
