Podcast Episode 65: Back in the K-Saddle Again!

Posted by Cherry Cordial on July 13, 2016

Can you believe it? We watched stuff! And in the case of Stephanie, lots of stuff! And again in the case of Stephanie, lots of very, very, very bad stuff! Cherry is quite satisfied with her smaller list of stuff that didn’t suck so hard. Plus, we’re talking exciting changes in the KCON line up and how we’re going to be in the same side of the country in two weeks! Can LA handle that much… awesome? Yeah. Let’s go with awesome.

Clarifications and Omissions

Stephanie and Cherry called Amber’s song All That Brass when it’s really Shake That Brass. We’re still very excited to watch her perform it.

Stephanie should apologize to the following
  • Anyone who thought she described those terrible movies in such a funny way that they now feel like they have to go out and watch them, because they are indeed terrible. Although, she did say they were super bad, so maybe you should take responsibility for your own actions.
  • Anyone who misses the old format.
  • All the makers of good dramas, because she chose to watch such crap instead of your stuff.
  • The musicians in the Easter Egg, it’s not like she meant to eww you before she even listened… she’s just a jerk.
Thanks for listening! See you next time.

Stephanie… Thank you for your sacrifice. 🙂 and congrats on your new job!

I enjoyed your ‘loose’ format… And very glad you did not edit any of the stories!

    I am really enjoying Doctors.

I bit the bullet and went to the V app and purchased the Bon Voyage episodes. Yes… I am whipped. They are coming out once a week. It is kinda funny that there ‘managers’ aren’t with them. But if you look around there are quite a few ‘staff’ around. It is cute seeing them take care of themselves.

It looked like RM and Kookie have bunk beds.

JHope had a bed and Jimin and Tae had bunk beds.

I don’t think they showed Jin and Yoongis room.

Btw…DH watched a bit of Misaeng with me on Monday… I got to explain OKC to him.
I loved how GR memorized the contact list!
    Manager OH!!!!

Keep up the Great Work! See you both in a few weeks!

Ummm… *shifty eyes* I might have bought the Bon Voyage episodes, too. My main issue with the V app right now is that I can’t watch a whole episode in one sitting and it doesn’t remember my spot. Makes for a cranky Cherry when I go back to watch again.

Also check out Kookie in Bromance. He is adorable.

I am not sure of the concept other than lets pair up a Shinhwa sunbae with the maknae of a current extremely popular group?!? There is a lot of cuteness. Minwoo trying to be a good Hyung and Kookie being cute and nervous. And lots of puppies and exercise!

Wait! I watched that one! I totally forgot to add it to my list. Woot! One more I watched this week. And yes, usually the celebrity bromance guys are people who already know each other. From what I can tell, this is the first time they’ve paired up strangers. They’re adorable to watch.

I loved the discussion about first episodes of dramas. I would love to hear you both discuss more of them. I’m someone who will give a drama a few episodes to get into it, but a drama that hooks me in the first episode is always a plus. I think it’s interesting how some dramas pull people in while other people feel like it had a slow beginning like you both felt about Flower Boy Next Door. I am someone who was hooked on the first episode thanks to Yoon Shi Yoon and the panda hat. Healer is another drama that I felt had an awesome first episode, but I have heard more than one can say that it took them a few episodes to get into it and that they felt the first episode was slow. I find discussions like these really interesting to have with other fans.
