Another KCON has been put to bed, which means it’s that time again for our KCON wrap up post! Why do we love this particular episode so much? It’s the one time the entire year we not only record from the same side of the country, but we’re in the same space! In this case? A car. On the highway. In the desert. So road noise is a thing. As always with our KCON wrap up episode, it is left completely as is, as in no editing at all. We recorded it and put it directly on the site. (Which is good, because with all the photos left to edit, Stephanie has no time for such shenanigans like editing.) It’s also long. Epically long. But she left that, too. In the episode, we talk about KCON, panels, awesome listener meet ups, and of course, Kpop. Lots and lots of Kpop. Kim Jong Kook, Block B, Monsta X, Lee Min Ho, SHINee, and of course, BTS.

KCON 2016 Concert Setlists (Note: There are some missing, but this was the most complete list I could find for Stephanie right after KCON)
Stephanie should apologize to the following
- Any possible tears shed
- The random sidebar we took into ADA rights
- How long the episode is. (Actually, she takes that back, it was a Cherry choice.)
- Saphen, for not knowing how to pronounce your name.
- Cricket, for forgetting to mention you, we will totally fix that next podcast!
Just FYI, these rambling, unedited podcasts are among my favorites. It’s like hanging out with the ladies in real time. Once again, Stephanie turns us on to new music. I ran right out and bought Sultan of the Disco’s 2012 release “The Golden Age” and loved it. Mr. Daisy is a Funkaholic (much more fun on a date than it sounds) so it’s right up our alley.
On Sunday, Molly kept saying “I wish I could rewind the last hour”, and this podcast was like rewinding the whole KCon experience and living it again! It was so fun meeting everyone, hanging out in lines, going to panels, hanging out in lines, running into K-Drama stars, hanging out in lines, screaming my head off for Quincy Jones. Thank you for letting me part of the gang for the weekend!
I can’t wait to listen to the next chapter. I’ll send you a photo of MADE-Seungri in his new place of honor.
You guys mentioned that you’d connected with someone who had the setlists for the concerts written down? When things settle down, could you post a link to it? I like to make playlists of songs from concerts I’ve been at.
Love the podcast. I wish you had more listeners because it’s the best… At the same time, I hope no one really paid attention to the ADA part because now everyone will show up in wheelchairs next year. Lol… Jk. Thank you for the wrap-up. Get well soon, Stephanie!
