Chottie of the Week: Yang Yang

Khottie of the Week

Guys…  I’ve spent the last week with my chin in my hand, staring at my screen with a goofy smile on my face, and sighing dreamily.  It all started when I saw a post by Amber KMuse on Dramas with a Side of Kimchi about her newest crack drama called Love O2O/Just One Smile is Very Alluring.  Being an online gamer myself, I liked the premise of the show – a romance between two people both inside a game and out – so I decided to try it.

Love O2O isn’t going for deep.  Its sweet, romantic, cotton candy fluff, and I can’t stop watching it!

Yang Yang’s role in this drama appears to be the Mr. Darcy –  cold and haughty on the outside, but really very romantic and squishy on the inside.

Turns out, Yang Yang is a skilled and enthusiastic kisser.  We get several scenes throughout the show that require rewatching.  For academic purposes, of course.

I feel like a high school girl with a crush on the most popular guy in school.

But it’s next to impossible to not fall in love with this gorgeous Prince Charming.

Normally, I’m not really into the clean cut, preppy sort of guy.  I like my men edgy and naughty.  So, as soon as I get a chance I will be watching Yang Yang in The Lost Tomb.

This is MUCH more my thing.  My mother told me I wasn’t allowed to get on the back on a motorcycle with a guy, but I plan to ignore her.

There’s something about his classic good looks that I can’t seem to resist.

And his voice!  This interview is really entertaining to watch.  He’s charmingly conceited.

But it would be silly to be falsely modest when they go around sticking you on STAMPS, for goodness sake!

Although his roles are mostly quiet and serious, he seems to be rather silly and sweet in real life.  Jump to the 3:35 mark for some adorableness.

There isn’t anything about this next video that isn’t nice to watch – Yang Yang and food.  So many close ups of his eyes and his mouth!  So sexy to watch him eat!  Also, its super goofy.

Its a long weekend, so stop what you’re doing right now and go check out Yang Yang in Love O2O.  Or, watch The Lost Tomb and let me know if it’s everything I hoped it would be (Basically Yang Yang being hot for several hours).  See you next week!

Okay – excellent choice for the Hottie post this week! I am watching Love 020, and I find myself dreamily staring at him in every scene.

You may be disappointed with the Lost Tomb. The production team decided to cut Yang Yang’s scenes substantially thanks to his contract dispute with his old agency who was also the investor of the Lost Tomb. His screen time as the pivotal character Zhang Zhiling in the original novel was replaced by extra that did no exist in the novel. He was cast and personally picked by the writer of the novel. Fans of the book just loved him as Zhang Zhiling. But the drama was a mess bcos of all the random casting and sub par directing. If you like Yang Yang, you can try Whirlwind Girl 1 in which he is the main lead too. He also has a new movie coming out this year.

Oh no! That makes me sad. It was the most promising of the bunch for me. But I will check out Whirlwind Girl instead. Thank you so much for letting me know! You rock. 🙂

Happy Sigh. He’s so handsome! I thought I see a resemblance between him and Lee Joon but most people see him with Infinite L. I don’t know. But thanks for adding Yang Yang into your hottie list! I’m so smitten by his charm!

I’m with you, he does remind me more of Lee Joon!
