BigBang Big Comeback?

Huh. When Cherry told me there were rumors out there that we were going to get a BigBang comeback this year, we scoffed. There may have even been an eye roll mixed in there. (That eye roll, in all honesty, was totally mine.) You know the internetz all the rumors and innuendos it thrives on. New BigBang? Naaahhhh…

I mean come on, it’s not like we were out of line not believing these rumors. We’re veterans here, we’re hip to YG’s ‘they’re having a comeback’ machine. I mean, how many of these rumors did we have before they actually did come out with the MADE album?

Not to mention, the other word on the internet street is that the guys, starting with T.O.P are going to begin heading towards their military service. So a new album and a new world tour? Yes, it gets my fangirl senses tingling, but again, eye roll. (Gah, how awesome would another BigBang concert be? I honestly didn’t think I’d get to see them perform again.)

Now though, it’s YG who’s saying that not only BigBang is coming back in November, but so are Akdong Musicians and Black Pink. To which I say whatever happened to Winner? How did they end up being the forgotten stepchild of YG? Of course, though, if I had to choose between BigBang and Winner, there is no real competition there. Sorry boys of Winner who I like but haven’t bothered to learn your names, how many members are in your band, or actually listen to most of your music, maybe once the BigBang boys do head off to military.

As for the BigBang album, considering how quickly this came up, I’m guessing it’s going to be a mini album, something with just a couple of songs to tease fans with. (Come on, one or two songs? Kpop why you do us like that.) The guys have been busy with the touring, with individual projects, and just how long did it take for them to release MADE? Laugh. I’m guessing they had a couple of b-songs that didn’t quite make the cut for MADE, or weren’t totally done, and decided, you know what we’ll do? We’ll just put it out as a mini-album later, throw the fangirls a bone.

Although, now that I think about it, weren’t they supposed to come out with a new song or something to bring all of the parts of MADE together in one album? Last I heard that kept getting pushed back. Maybe they think we forgot and just decided to make a new album.

Whatever the case, it’s freaking BigBang, who actually cares so long as we do get new music and we also get a world tour? (It has to be a world tour for me to not care because now that I have the possibility of seeing them just one more time? Well, that I am officially pinning all of my hopes and dreams upon.

And heaven help YG if they are only punking us.
