Are we ready for some drama? Of the Kdrama — and actually of the Kpop news variety? We’re talking dramas like Fight My Way (which Cherry Cordial has rightly picked up), questions brought up by Lookout, and waiting eagerly for Bon Voyage 2. We also talk about the troubling power of Kpop fans, with the recent Seo Taiji and Super Junior news.

Clarifications and Omissions

While Stephanie was talking about Lookout, she said one of the brothers was a prince, she meant priest.

Stephanie would like to probably apologize to the following:
  • People not watching dramas — it’s fun.
  • What’s-his-face from Super Junior, she doesn’t know you, but she thinks you got the shaft.
Thanks for listening! See you next time.

Poor Kyuhyun, I always forget him, too.

Cherry’s comment about binge/marathon made me realize that I think of them as two different things.

A marathon is something you plan for. On the 4th of July I had a bunch of dramas to catch up on, including the last 3 episodes of Chicago Typewriter. That was marathoning.

The other week I had an 8:30 am phone conference meeting. But the night before, I stayed up til 2 am RE-watching Its OK That’s Love episodes. That was bingeing.

    Hello Ladies!!
So… you inspired me to check out ‘Fight my way’. I ended up Marathoning it. (Hehe). Loved it!! Coach-nim, kim-sung-oh, is one of my favorite side actors. Loved that they used ‘Fire’ as Park Seo Joon’s walk our song. And the other guy used a Bastaz song.

Trot Lovers?!? I watched the whole train wreck. That was back before I got more comfortable with dropping shoes.

Heechul is a Variety god!!! He is so entertaining.

I have been watching the YSY show ‘the best hit’ (‘hit the top’). I am still enjoying it. I have started several shows recently that I haven’t finished, so I am glad to finally finding a few that I can see through to the end.

Btw RM interview with Rolling Stone India was fantastic. http://rollingstoneindia.com/bangtan/
Reaffirms for me why I love BTS so much. They are acutely aware and mindful of the influence that their words and action have on a global stage.

Mr SpiceAngel and I are deligently watching the Bon Voyage 2 epsisodes. Right now as I am writing he is watching the BTS Japanese concert video on YouTube. It is interesting how changes have been made since we saw them in March…plus some of the songs are in Japanese!

I am not able to attend some of the great Koop concert opportunities we are having at the moment do to scheduling conflicts (Monsta X, G dragon and even Kcon). However I am hoping more groups will start touring here.

    Great listening to you both!!!

Haha. Walk our = Wak out.

      I am dropping shoes.
      Shows… Shows. Thanks autocorrect!

Stephanie you have to keep watching Lookout! Kim Young Kwon’s character gets so much better and if I remember right there isn’t too many episodes before you get to see that. I just finished it and it is definitly one of my favorite dramas for the year so far!
