Stephanie… I love the podcasts. It makes my workday go by faster and keeps me informed and entertained during tedious tasks. (Constructive criticism now…) However, on this episode, your vocal fry made me skip most of the awesomeness. I’m sorry. 🙁 Vocal fry drives me up the walls. 🙁 Congrats on the new job and sorry too for your cat.
That’s too bad that vocal fry bothers you so much. Personally, I enjoy hearing a variety of regional accents, vocal intonations and cadences, including how Cherry, Stephanie and different guests talk on the podcast.
In the spirit of constructive criticism, it might be interesting to you to read and think about why many people might have such a strong negative reaction to vocal fry and feel the need to comment on it.

Hi all, really enjoyed the discussion of 20 Miles of Peach Blossoms and other C-dramas, I keep thinking I’ll pick another one up, but then I get daunted by the number of episodes.
In the case of 10 Miles of Peach Blossoms, the episodes are 35-40 minutes long, so the number of episodes isn’t quite as daunting to me. But yeah, I get the worry — I’m still working my way through Ugly Alert, and that’s a show I really like.
