Thanks, I’m Full.

Another episode of Let’s Eat? Really? Come on, tvN, I think we all know you can do better.

Okay. That was harsh. So unlike me. Who knew I had such strong feelings towards Let’s Eat, a show which originally aired….how many years ago? I’m gonna go with a butt-ton. (In Kdrama years which, as we all know, are at least as frequent as dog years.) Then a few years ago, someone at tvN said, ‘you know what this world needs? More Let’s Eat.’ Everyone in the meeting agreed, and we got season two. There are some out there who say they like season two better than season one. There are also those people who decided to give it a big pass when the original actress did the same and our hero, played by Doo Joon, ended up wooing another lady.

So, apparently, the person who thought season two was a honky-dory to bring out a season two thought, ‘heck, it worked a second time, how about a round three?’ Now, I like Doo Joon. I reaaaally like Doo Joon. I’d love to see him in more dramas and think that he actually has the acting chops to be able to pull them off. (Why doesn’t he work more? I know you’d say because he’s an idol, but if I tried hard, I could come up with several names of idols turned actors who manage to put out more content. I’d do it now, but I don’t actually care that much. He is totally lead material. Someone get on this.) Even with him though, it’s not enough to actually get me to watch the show.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before, but I choose to believe the romances in my stories. I mean, it’s part of why we’re there, right? And to only think you can’t make it past the end of the drama? It’s kind of a bummer.

Of course, I’m getting ahead of myself. tvN has merely announced the fact that they are currently planning a season two, we have no actual clues on plots or castings. Maybe he’s still with the girl from last time? Or maybe? GASP, the drama could not be about our loveable insurance salesman. Could you imagine a Let’s Eat without Doo Joon? If that’s they case, then maybe they just should have gone with another drama, or concept. Or something.

Sigh. Come back Doo Joon, come back in something I want to watch. Please and thank you.

This is probably a miss for me as well. They were really dragging the story in 2 (and I was one of them that liked the romance better the second time.) I think this story has been done and it needs to end. While we are at it, they should drop Drinking Solo 2 as well. I hated those characters (except for Key’s) with a passion. They had no redeemable qualities

Yeah, the romance was a little abrupt in season 1. Roommate Alix liked Drinking Solo so I was thinking of giving it a try. Pass?
