After being outed by SaraG in her post yesterday on StarPop and my somewhat rocky relationship with Jung Yong Hwa, I figured that the best use of this week’s Khottie was to actually look at some real-life photos of Yong Hwa. You saw what he looks like in the game; here’s your chance to remember what he’s like in the flesh.
I’ll be honest and admit that I didn’t think very hard about what idol I was going to build a relationship with in the app. You’re Beautiful was one of the first dramas I watched with SaraG and so when I saw Yong Hwa I said sure why not. After sincerely apologizing to him for the weeks of neglect and influenza, our relationship is on Level 10, he’s much less whiny than he was in the early days and as long as I remember to let him occasionally sleep he will do schedule after schedule with little complaint.
For those of you who might not know, Jung Yong Hwa is the lead singer and guitarist for CNBlue, an actual band that debuted in 2009 under FNC Entertainment. I like their music and have heard that what they record and how they perform can be very different…good different. He has a new drama coming out this month called The Package and I’m very excited to see him coming back to acting. Jung Yong Hwa will be 29 next June and my guess is that he will likely be heading off for military service so the likelihood of me seeing CNBlue live is small but a girl can dream…hopefully, there will be at least one CNBlue comeback before he enlists.
Since You’re Beautiful was where I first met him…
He’s affectionate.

Now whenever I look at him all I can do is hear him whine…or flop on the floor.
He was pretty good (and cute) in Three Musketeers,
(And played a character that kind of matches his StarPop persona.)
