Christmas is not only a time to buy gifts for those you love and appreciate but also a time, for me at least, to recognize all the gifts I have in my life. So this post is a gift to the person who’s been a gift in my life for the past eight years (and hopefully hundreds to come) and who helped make the challenges of this past year less daunting and insurmountable…bet you thought I would save this post for your birthday but I’m just sneaky that way!
If you’ve kept up on all the Kchat Jjigae posts you’ll be able to figure out who that person is…while you figure that out let’s meet Yong Jun Hyung. 
He’s the rapper of Highlight, the group formerly known as BEAST. 
A few of us might have developed a slight obsession with the group…and our own respective members…
He’s an 89er who just had a birthday so we know his enlistment date is not far away. 
But until that time…
We will appreciate what we have. 
He has plenty of tattoos. 
We love the little glimpses. 
And his subtle and beautiful smile. 
It feels like you’ve earned a prize. 
And while a true ‘Dad’ bod…(it wasn’t me who said that I’d like to be clear). 
We really don’t care. 
He’s second to GDragon for earnings from writing and producing music. 
Having written the majority of Highlight’s music. 
His solo music is great too.
