I hadn’t realized how much time had escaped since our last addition to the LGBT lists! I spend so much of my time watching these dramas, I think I’m always yak, yak, yaking away about them! Actually, just the other week I started Why R U and was thinking about recapping it! Anyway, this time around we have a strong showing by China with a lot of short films which, as the way of the LGBT short film, could be a crapshoot for ending well. We also have a couple of additions to the HIStory series which, I really thought I’d added on before, but turns out? Nope. How can this be?
Anyway, let’s take a look at the newest additions to our LGBT lists!
Yi Xu Yi Nuo (2016)
When Empress Dowager Yang Yuhuan from Tang dynasty accidentally falls down the stairs, her spirit travels to the future into the body of a beautiful young man that has just been hit by a car. The driver works for an architecture company owned by Huan Yi, who looks exactly like Prince Yuan, whom Lady Yang was having an affair with in the past. Huan Yi takes the boy home, thinking he suffers of some sort of aftereffect because of the accident when he keeps claiming he is Lady Yang. The Untamed (2019)
During a battle in the Nightless City, Wei Wu Xian, the infamous Yiling patriarch, throws himself off a cliff, however, Lan Wang Ji, a respectable cultivator from a prominent Sect of the Gusu Lan, tries to save him. Unfortunately, Lan Wang Ji fails as Jiang Cheng, who was like a brother to Wei Wu Xian, stabs Wei Wu Xian which causes him to fall to his death.
Sixteen years later, the tale of Wei Wu Xian’s death is still being questioned as no body was found but the world is at least is in a state of peace. However, Wei Wu Xian is suddenly wakes up in the Mo village after a crazy cultivator called Mo Xuan Yu performed a ritual. Mo Xuan Yu, who no one knew how he looks since he always wore a mask, disappeared due to the ritual and Wei Wu Xian takes his place. There, Wei Wu Xian reunites with Lan Wang Ji. The Road Home (2015)

The story is about a cynical father and a college student who get together after some odd circumstances arise. Shi Yi Jie, a divorced, single man, is an associate professor of The Department of Anthropology. He has an 8-year-old daughter named Yo Yo. He single-handedly raises his daughter. After encountering Fei Sheng Zhe by accident, the three of them become a family.
HIStory2: Boundary Crossing (2018)
This story is about school, youth, passion, sports and romance.
Wang Zhen Wu is Wang Zhen Wen’s older stepbrother, Zhen Wen likes him, but Zhen Wu can’t show his feelings to his younger brother because of them being stepbrothers.
Qiu Zi Xuan was an excellent volleyball player in the past, but he had to give up on on his dreams due to his injuries, but he still participates in the volleyball-related training, arranges and helps them to get into training, watching them improve.
During the training, he meets a guy, Xia Yu Hao, a guy with a really bad temper who gets easily infuriated with people that make him angry, but he strives to acquire what he persistently wants to achieve.
Zi Xuan thinks he’s the one who can reach his dream instead of him. He hopes that Yu Hao can achieve what he couldn’t in the past.

Why R U (2020)

Later, when his friends tell him to steal ideas from his sister, he sees that his name is being used in her fiction along with his enemy’s, Saifah.
