Khottie of the Week: The Missing Kihyun

I’m a putter-er. I have trouble sitting still, trouble not doing something. Which is why the site suits me. You wouldn’t believe the amount of busywork it produces on a weekly basis, either with regular upkeep, or new projects. This week, as Cherry was working on getting us flipped over to the new server, I got a bug up my rear about organizing Khottie, marking pages, making it more sharable, seeing who has been featured already. One side benefit of the work is primarily seeing who is missing. I can now organize by groups, by themes and see just who we accidentally skipped over by not having any organization. (Swoon, who here loves a spreadsheet?)

One of the biggest gaps that made me gasp in surprise? Kihyun! Kihyun of Monsta X is the ONLY Monsta X member who has not had is turn on the Khottie list.

How could this happen?

I’m a mother-flipping Monbebe.

Like for real.

I have the paperwork and everything.

And I leave off their powerhouse?

I left off the one who SaraG swoons over?

I’m not certain I can look myself in the mirror. Although. It’s been a very long time since I’ve been in charge of Khottie.

Alix?  KpopontheDL? How could you do this to Kihyun? To SaraG? To Monbebes the worldwide round?*

Though if you think about it… it’s pretty good timing.

As this week they officially postponed their tour this week. (WAAH!) But at least we can gaze upon them longingly.

I hate to say it, but it took me a while to warm to Kihyun. He wasn’t bottom of the list for me I just wasn’t emotionally attached.

But after he broke a rib before last years LA concert and not only did he still go on, not only could he not stay in the chair that he was told to perform from, it was the fact that you could tell it literally pained him to have to sit out, to miss out on the fun, that’s what started to change me.

That’s when I fell in love.

….and then there was also that really smutty fanfic.

It might have been that.

But you didn’t hear me say that.

Whatever it was, I’m now firmly on the Kihyun train.
