Apparently, my theme for this week is to not be able to decide. Monday was all about being so excited about future music that I couldn’t focus on the present, I’ve had a terrible time settling on a drama to watch all week, it took me hours to choose what to have for breakfast today (and once I chose, I realized I was out of milk), and today I’m not even going to pretend to settle. In fact, I’m just going to borrow someone else’s top ten list and let you meander through 2020 like a boss.
Studio Choom has popped up over the last several years as one of the absolute MUST stages to tackle with every comeback. With its minimalist to empty space and clever use of lighting, it’s the optimal place to show off choreography and dance ability for our up and coming and well established idols. But that’s what choom means, right? It’s the romanization of the Korean word for dance. That’s the whole point.
One of the things that Studio Choom has taken to doing is a wrap up of the top 10 most viewed boy and girl group performances of the year at the end of each year. 2020 was an odd duck because of COVID, but that in no way stopped the music. Take a look at the playlist from last year and tell me you don’t love em all… or at least most of them. The vast majority probably.
