This week’s CHottie is a byproduct of my current drama watching. Every time I turn on Go Go Squid I’m reminded… oh wait… Mr. Pouty is hot. Like super hot. Like smolder, smolder, pop, pop hot. It makes me think, maybe just maybe I can make it through a FOURTY episode drama.
Please remind me.
Why is it that shows need to be so long?
It’s so hard to get through them.
Especially with my limited watching time.
I watch a few episodes, have to move to something else…
Then remind myself to go back and that’s where I’m faced with how many episodes I have left.
I’ve been chipping away at Go Go Squid for a while and I’ve made it to episode like 15?
It’s enough to almost make me turn to something else.
But then I’ll see a pic or a gif, or that thumbnail lurking on my currently watch page and am reminded…
With all his dark angst and pouty ways…
I’m in for it.
I’ve sent numerous messages out to friends about it.
There may have been screenshots.
And by screenshots I mean me just taking pictures of my TV.
Oooh, he so pretty.
Have you seen this? He’s so pretty!
And they all have.
As I’m late to the Go Go Squid game.
Everyone else oohed and ahhhed over Li Xian and the cute show years ago.
Who cares if I’m late though, right?
So long as I finally showed up?
In the spirit of staying in the party, are there any other Li Xian dramas I should be checking out?
Possibly one that isn’t 40 episodes long?
Although, I’ve learned perhaps that isn’t a sticking point.
I didn’t expect to find so many good pictures of Li Xian, sometimes it’s hard with the Chinese actors.
Unfortunately, I had the opposite experience.
SO many good pics I had to finally stop looking.
Which is never a bad place to be.
Li Xian. Major Swoon.
