I am a sucker for a soulmate trope. Anything with a red ribbon, or string, or rope has got a pretty good leg up on my approval rating system. But man, when it’s also actually really good content, I’m a goner.
E’Last, an eight-member boy group on E Entertainment, debuted in the depths of the pandemic apocalypse in June of 2020. I watched a bunch of their pre-debut YouTube content and was completely charmed by their mad skills, adorable energy, and fab chemistry. Unfortunately, like most groups I wasn’t already bonded with, they took a bit of a back burner as I worked an obscene number of hours every day and tried to maintain some semblance of routine within my household. That’s not to say I didn’t sit up and pay attention to each of their releases, but I just didn’t have the energy to fully invest.
Well, someone in the group or in their company took note and figured out how to address this situation. Enter, Dark Dream and the most VIXX video since VIXX actually put out a video. The red ropes, lush costuming, and saturated colors are the perfect backdrop for the sweeping, theatrical song. It feels like a movie I want to watch hidden away in my basement with nobody around to judge me. Something that’s going to give me shivers deep in my teenage soul. The gorgeous dancing in cropped gentleman’s jackets doesn’t hurt either.
Love love love.
Now to invest.
Dark Dream, E’LAST

SO MANY BELLY BUTTONS. I’ve said it before, I’ll said it again, I’m here for it. And nipples. And tattoos. And harnesses… and collars…
Uhoh. I may have said too much
I loved this video. It was hella good. Definitely a group I’ll add to my list!
