Khottie of the Week: ATEEZ

Only three Khotties left! The pressure is on! The choice on this one was actually easier than I had anticipated. ATEEZ is all around me. Their newest music came out this week, the Kpop Nerd Herd is descending on Chicago to see them in concert in January, and instead of writing this post, I’d really rather be reading ATEEZ fic. Its a busy time. Since we don’t have the time to get to all the rest of the members, and this is one of those groups that I love as a whole, I figured, let’s just do them all. So I present to you, this week’s Khottie, All of Ateez!

I can’t believe they actually rescheduled their concert.

Out of all the tickets we held before COVID, CIX, Monsta X, and NCT… ATEEZ was the one we held onto.

It was almost like a talisman.

A promise to ourselves that things were going to get better.

Sure things suck now, but someday ATEEZ is going to reschedule.

And we have awesome seats.

So when they announced, it was pretty much a no brainer.

Yep. We’re going.

We’re going to be together and happy and see pretty men dance and sing to pretty songs.

Just like we used to.

I’m also so glad that both LizC and ValB were able to score tickets to the same show.

This will be ValB’s first Kpop concert!

Which is also a milestone.

Not only did we meet and become friends during the pandemic…

ValB also actually became a kpop fangirl this last year.

And a HUGE ATEEZ fan.

So I’m super excited to be able to share it with her.

With all of us.

The last time we were all together like this would have been the BTS Wings Tour, when they all came out to New York.

It was that weekend after being so happy with my new friends, I realized just how unhappy I was in New York and made the decision to move to Colorado.

Here’s hoping no more life-changing decisions come out of this next gathering.

Although this one worked out just fine.
