November 3, 2016The struggle continues. With the new commute, and change of schedule I’m trying very hard to get dramas in.…
November 3, 2016We’re back did you miss us? We missed you! Or at least Cherry did. Stephanie was watching too much drama to think about it. (That’s why Cherry is the nice one.) We’re talking comeback news, concert tours, solo efforts before hitting what we’ve been watching during our time away with the likes of W, Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, Five Children, Love O2O, and Make It Right.
September 30, 2016After a few weeks of special episodes, we’re back to just us! It feels weird. Is it weird? We’re hopping right back in, talking about dramas we’re watching, like Another Miss Oh, announcing Stephanie’s KCON NY-adjacent panels, talk meetups, Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook, Heechul! Heechul! Heechul! and we, of course, have to talk about #burgerpartyforjungkook. We’re back in the k-saddle again!
June 15, 2016We all have them. Dramas you always, with the best intentions, meant to go back to finish. You know…
December 11, 2015Now that KCon is done, we’re getting back to our regularly scheduled programming—talking about Kdrama! In this episode, Stephanie is a little punchy, Cherry can’t stop laughing, and we talk about newsy things like, ugh, Ghost Seeing Detective, Soompi canceling their premium program, Super Junior and the Teen Choice awards, we answer some listener questions, and finally, we ponder the time-old did-not-finish list, talking about why we drop some shows and whether you should go back again.
August 19, 2015Whew, with all the changes to the schedule, we didn’t think we were going to make this one on time! But by the power of GDragon we have made it. In this episode we talk about ice cream, Top Gear, and Stephanie’s new AC. Oh, and in drama-related topics we chatter about what dramas we’re watching, new and upcoming dramas to consider adding to our lists, randomly newsy stuff, and then a listener question where we talk about whether the sound of the a language itself can drive you from a drama. **Alert, we get a little spoilery about Lovesick, so if you haven’t watched up to episode 17—do it already!**
July 8, 2015Holy Gdragon, this is the second week in a row we’ve managed to keep the podcast under a manageable level. I’m so proud! This week, we talk about how Cherry and Amber tricked Stephanie into either watching terrible dramas, or not watching dramas at all. We also talk about the rash of injuries in Kdramaland, the results of our BigBang ticket hunt, what we’re watching (or in Stephanie’s case, which fanfiction she’s now reading), answer a question on whether or not it is worth it to go to KCon, and then end up with a discussion whether drama-writers owe anything, story-wise, to the watchers.
June 24, 2015Here’s second edition of the Cruel Romance chat between Amber Kmuse, Cherry Cordial and myself! It was another great…
June 17, 2015In this episode, Stephanie was determined to get the podcast to a manageable length. We chat about Chinese dramas, which seems to have taken over our current drama watching, KCon updates, BigBang, comments on comments, we draw the winner for the year anniversary giveaway (thanks for entering guys!), and then we end on something a little different—Stephanie’s Ranty Corner, where she talks about DramaFever’s apparent decision to start carrying BBC programming. All in all, one of the best times we’ve had in a while!
June 10, 2015This weekend, I fell down the rabbit hole of Chinese dramas. After finishing up Shan Shan Come To Eat…
