January 12, 2018We have special guests for the podcast! SaraG and Former Roommate Alix walk us through their favorite kdramas of 2017.
January 12, 2018Look what we have here! It’s a podcast! What are we talking about? Primarily we’re answering a listener voicemail question, which ask us to revisit our chaebol topic and wonders, “Why are these sort of characters so popular?” We also offer her some suggestions of dramas with strong women and non-butthole heroes. Also, we catch up on some comments on comments! Side Note: Sorry for the delay, we had a technical hiccup.
September 17, 2016Guess the show title pretty much explains it all. There’s a bump in our schedule due to incoming KCON so we recorded a drama casting! We also take some time out of our busy lives to squee over Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.
July 27, 2016After a few weeks of special episodes, we’re back to our regularly scheduled programming. We’re finishing up the B-Side which means chatting about meeting real life listeners in real life, Stephanie’s pet name for Cherry Cordial (hint: It’s Cherry Cordial), Kpop Coffee, Operation Kdrama Chat’s new show poll, comments on comments, and finally answer a listener question about Korean drinking rules.
July 6, 2016Episode 30! Can we get a woot-woot! It’s our last podcast before we westward-KCON-ho. In this episode, Stephanie hijacks Cherry’s drama watching list with a rant about Scholar Who Walks At Night. We discuss the very upsetting news about the NYC BTS concert, and then we have a very special KCON announcement. And as always, we get a little spoilery on Lovesick (and for good measure Scholar Who Walks At Night—not our fault guys—how can you talk about that crazy-pants drama without giving crazy-pants details?)
July 22, 2015In today’s episode, we talk about changing the way we watch Kdrama and vow to start simulcasting more by looking through a lot of the upcoming dramas, we squeee about random kpop news, and wonder who would pay to watch a hologram GDragon. Meandering, we brush on body size in Korean entertainment and the possible end of our love of Roommate.
