February 15, 2018In this episode, we’re talking about what we’re watching! And we’re watching stuff! And Stephanie is very excited about what she’s watching (Ahem… Fight My Way). We discuss how a Kpop book has Jr McFeeley incensed. And we talk about some newsy topics like casting news for Kwang Soo and Lee Byung Hun, Yoo Ah In and Seo In Guk’s recent military news, and BTS blowing away the internet. We may also have a discussion how Stephanie may or may not now have dominion over all things Korean. (She doesn’t make the rules she just lives by them…)
June 30, 2017Woohoo! So excited. We recorded this episode back when I visited the oft mentioned McFeeleys. Throughout the podcast, we’ve chatted their growing Running Man obsession, and in this very special episode, we got to hear it right from them. We chat favorite episodes, guests, rate the members, and learn a very important lesson: Pants falling down is ALWAYS a comedy yes.
May 25, 2016Friend of the podcast Lola gets an A on her project and wants a scandal filled-episode? Well then Lola, who got an A on her project, gets a scandal-filled episode! Although, us making terrible scandal puns out of newsy topics may not have been quite the scandals she was looking for. However, as it is the land of Kdrama and Kpop, we were actually able to find some legit scandals to talk about: Members getting kicked out of Kpop groups, Kpop bands apparently with the power to turn kids gay, networks fighting over dramas, and people turning on poor, poor Chanyeol. Then we round it out with comments on comments and a listener question talking about just who is supplying Hulu with shows. The answer might shock you! 😉
May 4, 2016We decided to have a loosey-goosey, really short episode this week! Well, that was the plan—instead we travel all around Asia, chatting at great lengths about the dramas we’re watching (so many!), how much we’ve missed Jackson, and an odd and random foray into American dramas. We’ve just come to realize brevity is not in our wheelhouse.
November 11, 2015Let’s get reaaaaaady to KCON! Or actually, we’ve already done KCon and are ready to talk all about the experience. Like last year, we are actually together recording and not in our hermetically sealed boxes, so there is a lot more background noise and it’s straight off our lips and into your ears (meaning it’s missing the hours of editing we usually put into it). We’re talking about the music, the panels, and the people of KCon (with a brief stop into what we’re watching). See you next year, Cherry Cordial!
August 5, 2015This was supposed to be a nice happy, look where some of my favorites are now—isn’t it great…
July 30, 2015I was reading this completely random article about some actress from the hit Empress Ki, leaving the show (after…
